Nearly 60 Years of One-Party Rule —
And What It's Cost Baltimore

Ronald Reagan famously asked Americans in 1980: "Are you better off than you were four years ago?" We ask Baltimore a harder version of that question: Are you better off than you were 60 years ago? Democrats have held the mayor's office continuously since 1967. No Republican has served on the City Council since 1942 — over 80 years ago.

When one party holds unchallenged power for generations, accountability disappears and residents pay the price in unsafe streets, underfunded schools, and a tax burden that drives people out. A functioning Republican Central Committee builds the infrastructure of accountability — recruiting serious candidates, re-engaging discouraged voters, and ensuring there is always an alternative for Baltimoreans who want something better.

About Jeff

Where We Chose to Raise Our Family

Jeff Schoenborn moved to Baltimore in 2008 and, when it came time to put down real roots, he and his wife chose to raise their three children here — not in the county, not somewhere easier. He's also built a healthcare technology business here, and in 2023 was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Republican Central Committee.

He's not a politician by temperament — he's a computer programmer and business owner who sees real problems in this city and believes data, honest communication, and steady work are how you fix them. Baltimore has great bones. It deserves leadership that treats it that way.
